Soooo I am a little lost with new things to try at the moment, and kind of have a cold so its sort of basic this week.
Lamb chops and veg
Crispy chicken drumsticks with tomatoes and garlic
Roast Lamb and veg
Beef Stew (2 nights)
Home made pizza
Something else with chicken, not sure yet, or maybe left over spaghetti bolognaise that's in the freezer.
What kind of foods do you put in your beef stew?
ReplyDeleteIts simple, its from a Jamie book. Its just beef, garlic, rosemary, red wine, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot and tomato paste, and beef stock. With some grated lemon and finely chopped garlic to serve on top, with lovely crunchy bread. You can put in parsnip and turnip too but I don't like them :P
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't sound simple to me :P But the red wine idea is a good one!
ReplyDeleteYummy! I'd like to try lamb sometime, I'm really curious about it.
ReplyDeleteSomething with chicken: You could make chicken spaghetti or alfredo. That is one of our faves.
It is simple really, because all you do is chop the vegies and beef (if you haven't bought it chopped it already) throw it in a pan with the stock, paste and wine, cook for about 20 mins on stove then place in oven for about 1.5 hours.
ReplyDeleteAmber you should SO try lamb, its really the nicest meat, alot milder than steak which can be tough and over powering.
I would make spaghetti type with the chicken but Arch hates pasta :P I made a yummy honey lemon chicken though :)
